Flickr had been working on creating a new design photo page and after a few weeks of public review, Flickr has rolled out the newly designed photo page to the rest of the world.
One of the things Flickr did was increased the default view size by 28% So you get to show of your photo even more. Remember when you wanted to view the photo bigger, you had go to the page that had the bigger sizes? Well now you don’t have to, you can just click on the photo and it zooms out bigger using the lightbox feature and you get to see the photo on black which really makes your photos stand out.
The Next thing Flickr did was improve their navigation, you can finally move forward or back with the new newer and older buttons above each photo. You can now click the drop down menu on the groups the photo belongs to and you can also check out the latest photos from there too. Another thing is when you check out the latest photos from your contacts you don’t have to go back to the home page, you can just click next. This makes it much more easier. Read More

You may be seeing a lot of URL Shortening Services, such as bit.ly or Tinyurl. These are some of the most popular used ones and there are plenty of others out there as well. Typically these are used a lot on Twitter which is a mirco blogging service that only allows 140 characters and sometimes you want to send a link and they can get pretty long and take up all the space. To fix that users created URL shortening services that shrink the URL to show something like this: http://bit.ly/bXdt564 instead of something like http://domainname.com/year/2010/month/january/day/12/url-shortening-services – you get the point.
How do I use Facebook? That is the question.
Well I wanted to discus How to use Facebook like how I use it. As most of you may or may not know that Facebook is enormously popular, but it can be frustrating to others. The design of Facebook leaves a lot to be desired and there are too many things to do on Facebook.
There is no doubt that Facebook is very powerful social networking tool. So how can you best use it? Well I’m going to show you what I do to manage and enjoy Facebook.
I recently can across a neat video of someone testing out a 1964 modem and I thought it was really neat to just think about how people connected to the internet back in the sixtys, which I didn’t have a clue that the internet was working back in the 60’s but again it was basically just little of data back then, but not a whole lot.
