I just bought the Fender 212R, this will be my first guitar amplifier which had a lot of great reviews and I can’t wait to get it, but when I was going through the ordering process, I couldn’t afford a cable and now I have a useless guitar amp that I’ll have a while, and don’t know if it will work or how it sounds until I get a cable, which is around 40-50 bucks. Sure I could get a cheaper cable, but you don’t really want to cheap out on cables. I was going to get a 10 foot Mogami cable which is like one the best cables you can get, the other option was to get a 12 foot Monster cable, none of the less, they both are awesome, as so I hear anyways.
After buying this amp, I am completely flat broke, sure I would get a job but there isn’t many jobs around here nor do I have any transport to get to these jobs. I just don’t know what to do anymore, it’s getting to me, I wish I was super smart and invented something or just one the lotto, but that I’ll never happen with my luck. I want to go to college someday, but I don’t know how I am going to do this, I don’t even know if my parents will even co-sign for me. Life is hard, I guess I better be getting use to it.
I got bored today and wanted to record some birds out in our backyard and it’s very windy today, like probably wind gusts up to around 25-40mph and so I thought today would be a good chance to mess around with some foam and see if I can get it to fit on the top of my crappy USB microphone, I managed to do it. I mean it’s better than with out the foam, I can tell you that much. I would like to try other foam as well to see which one works the best. I couldn’t find much foam around the house, but I found a old still in package mop foam thing replacement that doesn’t fit our mop anymore, so I cut it up and tried to made it fit, though it split but where the mic was and where the split was, it didn’t really matter. So here are the results, you can hear when I opened the door to take off the window screen and you will tell the difference with and with out the windscreen.
