If you are wondering why my computer setup looks like and just wondering what it looks like where I write. I created a video of me showing you around my desk and part of my room. Yeah I know I don’t speak very good, never did. But hopefully once a get a new video camera this will be get better because I might get more involved in creating videos. I hope you like the video.
Have you gone to Google today? If you do, you will see there new Google logo design to celebrate Pack Man’s anniversary today. This is something that Google has never done before (at least I think so). You wont see the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button anymore, instead that was replaced with “Insert Coin” button, when pressed you will be able to play PacMan right from Google’s logo! How awesome is that? I been playing it, have you?

If you are going to buy an expensive DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera to only shoot video, I think it’s stupid. Sure it’s nice to have a video function finally on a DSLR for those never know moments. But if you’re going to spend a thousand or even more for a DSLR that has “decent” to only shoot video, I think it’s the waste of the camera. These cameras were designed to take photos not videos! A lot of them even have a time limit, and others don’t, you just got to watch out for that.
Auto Focus, hmm, Most DSLRS do offer auto focus on their movie modes, but pretty much all of them whether from Nikon or Canon, they just suck. You know people tell me, oh you should get this camera cause it better video, I don’t care! I don’t shoot video, I’m a photographer not a videographer. Sure, I like to shoot video, But I don’t want to use a DSLR to shoot videos… But i’m going to take the better route in my opinion, I’m going to get a dedicated camcorder. At least with these cameras you don’t hear the lens move in and out when zooming for focusing. These camcorders even offer more options than much DSLR cameras do.
For the last 6 months I been using quad screens, one of the monitors however, was connected to another system which is now having some issues (I got it back up but it’s moved into another room for now). The other two were connected to my system which are a 22inch and a 17inch. The only problem was that I truly didn’t use the other two monitors that much. The other system I had setup was just basically for sharing some files and testing out some software and what not and that was rarely. The second monitor on my system was just basically for my twitter client and maybe once in a while having two browsers but again that was very rarely.
The other thing I forget to mention was that they were different size and since I have a Dell Ultrasharp 22inch which is height adjustable and having a 17inch next to it looked pretty odd so I had to lower my monitor down so it was kind of level with the 17inch and I like my monitors being at eye level.
Do you listen to podcasts? I sure do. Podcasts are basically just audio versions of a blog, there are some that are personal that talk about their day, like a journal or a diary, but a online version, there are some called vlogs which is a video blog. Most podcasts are discussions with other people, maybe it’s about tech news, maybe it’s screen casts, like free episodes of how to use Photoshop, there are lots of podcasts that are technology related, social media, pop culture, even history, there is one for everyone. You can learn a lot from these podcasts as well, like I have. So I decided to share the ones that I listen to all the time.
I came across a website called TechJohnson.com and I would like to share it with among my viewers.
Steve, like my self is a technical guru and loves to help out people with their technical needs. He owns this blog called TechJohnson and he just recently did a string of Windows 7 reviews and I highly recommend that you watch them.
Steve also has a live stream that he hosts on ustream 24 Hours, 7 Days a week at Techjohnson.com/live.
So why don’t you visit the stream, maybe come into the IRC (irc.greatshark.net, #techjohnson)
He also has a technology forum at TechJohnson.com/forums
Also if you haven’t already, I high recommend that you follow him on Twitter @techjohnson
