Don’t you hate it when you sign for accounts like Flickr, Twitter, etc and it says your username you entered is already taken, please try again. I don’t know about you but I really hate it!

When you came up with a great name or brand that you want to stick with is not very easy.  Most likely you want it to be your twitter name but to find out it’s been taken by a inactive twitter user with zero tweets. Your best bet is to try to contact the user and ask him/her if they could give it to you.  This is the problem, the internet is really big and the chances are someone else has your username, even if you think no one else has thought of it.  But these sites can show you if your username/brand is taken or not, if not I would suggest signing up for sites that you may want to use in the future even if your not going to use them right this second. But I have came up with a couple websites to help you find if your brand/username is available or not.
