Every single time I log into Facebook it always complains that my email is invalid, I don’t understand how it can me invalid if I am using it all the time. I says to send a email to confirm that it’s valid, but I never ever get it! But I still get emails from Facebook when someone comments or sends me a message or something like that. I don’t understand why Facebook keep saying my email invalid it has never done that before. Just wondering if anyone else is having these problems too?
It’s just starting to bother me because it’s every single time now. I suppose I can contact Facebook and figure out what is going on. Because I am getting sick of it!

You may be seeing a lot of URL Shortening Services, such as bit.ly or Tinyurl. These are some of the most popular used ones and there are plenty of others out there as well. Typically these are used a lot on Twitter which is a mirco blogging service that only allows 140 characters and sometimes you want to send a link and they can get pretty long and take up all the space. To fix that users created URL shortening services that shrink the URL to show something like this: http://bit.ly/bXdt564 instead of something like http://domainname.com/year/2010/month/january/day/12/url-shortening-services – you get the point.
How do I use Facebook? That is the question.
Well I wanted to discus How to use Facebook like how I use it. As most of you may or may not know that Facebook is enormously popular, but it can be frustrating to others. The design of Facebook leaves a lot to be desired and there are too many things to do on Facebook.
There is no doubt that Facebook is very powerful social networking tool. So how can you best use it? Well I’m going to show you what I do to manage and enjoy Facebook.
I’m a really big fan of Pidgin IM client because for me it’s open source and it works really well. But the downfall of this is that the interface isn’t that great in my opinion but I have found a way to give it a much better look and I will show you how to do this.
Before we begin, make sure you have Pidgin installed and other plugins, I recommend Facebook and Musictracker plugins.
Also one more thing before we start customizing is to make sure you back up this folder “C:\Program Files\Pidgin\pixmaps\pidgin”
After you have done that, exit out of pidgin and lets get to customizing!

Browse to this location C:\Program Files\Pidgin\pixmaps\pidgin and the contents should be like the one in the screenshot (left).
Now download these files, I edited them my self so what you will have to do is just drag and drop and replace all the files. Download
You can either extract it to: C:\Program Files\Pidgin\pixmaps\pidgin or just extract the compressed file and drag and drop, either way will work.
After that is complete, just run pidgin and everything should work just fine, you should have new icons and such.
If all done correctly, it should look something like this, depending on your configuration
If you have any problems implementing this new theme into pidgin, feel welcome to comment below and I will try to help you the best that I can.
Facebook successfully fought a malicious worm Thursday that has plagued the social networking site for two days by luring victims to a fake Facebook Web site and demanding that they submit login credentials. In Thursday’s phishing scheme, the user received a message from FBStarter.com. Wednesday’s attack contained the address "BAction.net. Criminals will then use the acquired information to add to spam lists or for identity theft purposes, with the hopes that members often use the same passwords for multiple accounts. Once Facebook learns of a phishing attack, the company deletes the URL from members’ pages, blocks additional postings, and removes the redirect to the URL that appears in e-mail messages.
Users who suspect that they’re a victim of a phishing attack should immediately change their passwords and notify the company of the scam.
