Hello,

I’m Nicholas Erwin, who is a computer geek and photographer that lives in Vermont, US.  I been here since I was boring.  I started working with technology when I was fairly young and over the years and just got more interested in this field and when I got to high school I went to a vocational school and was pretty successful there.  I still haven’t decided on what I am going to do for college education.

I like to call myself an IT Professional, Network Engineer and a Photographer.  Though I do not have a job that is technology related, I actually don’t have a job at all to be honest.  It’s tough trying to be a musician, computer geek and a photographer without making much money, but somehow, I do get by.

But anyways, this blog is about myself, you may see technology related articles, my thoughts, sometimes I create YouTube videos, like unboxings, reviews and what not.  Sometimes you will see me ranting on Twitter, mainly about Apple since I am not a very big Apple fan.  This blog is all about me, it’s all very personal to me and I like sharing it with the world.

Where did you go to school? – Well I did Computer Networking & Hardware as my major, Graphic Design, Photography, Database Design, Web Design and CAD all at Barre Technical Vocational Center.

Did I get any awards/certifications? – You bet I did! I got High Honors for Both years I was there.  I also got into National Technical Honor Society and United States Achievements academy.  I also got IC3 certification.  When I graduated from BTC, and I got a Course completer certificate.

What are Your Hobbies? – Well I love working on computers, I play the guitar, working on cars,  I love to listen to music over and over, I like to clean (yes I know, right?) I like to play video games a lot my next best favorite hobby is photography, check out my Flickr stream if you want to see some more photos -There is probably more hobbies, but do I really need to list them all?

Why Nerwin.net? -   It was Black Friday and I saw a really great deal on anhosting.com and I was like wow.  This was my chance to start my own name on the Internet.  So I gave it a shot.  It took me almost a full year to get where I am today.  I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do.  So I took my time and I finally figured out what I wanted to do which was Personal/technology blog. November 20th 2007 was the official day when I got nerwin.net.
