bhllogo Have you ever wanted to make your own ID badges?  I did.  I wanted to make a photographer badge for when I’m at events, such as car shows, which is one of the events I attend a lot.  Though I don’t work for no photography company, but I work for my self.  So I thought it may be kind of neat to have my own ID badge that identifies me as a photographer/blogger.

So I started looking for online ID badge makers and I found the perfect one from Big HUGE Labs called Badge Maker. You can make your own Photo Badge, Name Badge, Flickr Badge.  All of these badges can either be landscape, or vertical. The best is, It’s Free!

So all you do is upload a photo of your self either from your computer, Flickr or Facebook.  Then you can choose what style you want, color, depending on what style you have selected you can choose a head text and foot text.  Then you have an option for a official looking barcode (I tried scanning it with my barcode scanner, but it wont read it.  When I make mine, I’m going to edit it with a real barcode that has data.)  Under that you have your name and then text, you enter what ever you want.  Then you have other stuff like member since, expires, birth date, Flickr pro status.

Once you have finished making your badge you may now click create and it will bring you to a page with a high res image, it should be in the same aspect ratio has the standard ID card so when you shrink it down to size and laminate it, it should fit in a ID badge holder.  Follow Big HUGE Labs @bighugelabs
