Yes you heard right, I’m going to be showing you a way to tweet from Google Talk and have your latest tweets show in your Google Talk status.  Using Google Talk might be a really good way to tweet to Twitter if your at work or maybe just have that option available to you. You can also have Google Talk display your latest tweet in the status. How can you do this? TwiTalker & Twitter2gTalk

 

TwiTalker

TwiTalker is a Twitter robot based on Google Talk. To use TwiTalker, you simply visit the site and login with your Twitter account.  Theres no need to download anything, It will ask you to allow access to twitter and you allow it and it will show you a simple code that you just copy and send it to the bot and it will comfirm and bind your account together.  (I highly suggest reading their FAQ page for a detailed how to: http://twi-talker.appspot.com/faq) However, TwiTalker may lead toward more advance users, because you have to enter commands to view tweets from your the people that follow, view your direct messages and other various stuff.  The good thing is you don’t need to enter any command to send a tweet, you simply just send a message to the bot in Google Talk and it will post it to Twitter. Twitter2gTalk

Twitter2gTalk takes your latest tweets and sets them as your status/away message in Google Talk.  All you do is login with your Gmail account and set the settings page.  The developer has been working on creating a better version, so stay tune and follow them on twitter @twit2gtalk and @broderboy

There’s not a whole lot to talk about this app, but it is very simple to setup, however I was unable to use this.  It wouldn’t work for me, but others have confirmed it working, If it works for you, please let me know by commenting below.
