You been hearing about Twitter a lot lately, right?  What is Twitter?  You may ask.  Well Twitter is a series of chirps, in social networking terms that is.  Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read other users’ updates known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters displayed on the author’s profile page and delivered to the author’s subscribers who are known as followers. Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle of friends or, by default, allow open access. Users can send and receive tweets via the Twitter website, Short Message Service (SMS) or external applications.

I first remember hearing about twitter on a few podcasts I listened back in 2007.  And I was like What is Twitter? So I decided to check it out and i’m glad I did.  You meet new people that share the same interests as you and you can follow their tweets and listen to what they have to say.

Twitter is Simple, but it’s just right.
