Battlefield 2

I was at Best buy the other day with my family after we ate at a restaurant, I didn’t even plan on buying thing, well my dad wanted to get some DVD movies.  Anyways I was just looking at some games and I just remembered that I wanted to try out Battlefield 2, so I looked for it and I saw it for $9.99, I was like hey! that’s not bad.  So I bought it and I was really surprised how good the quality and how fun overall the game is.  Its totally one of my favorite games to play now, next to Test Drive Unlimited that is.

I really like how the Bots act, because they are actually SMART! there not so dumb as in Battlefield Vietnam where they don’t do a damn thing and In order to win I have to kill them all.  Its stupid. But in Battlefield 2, you can actually have fun and kick the other teams asses.

You can be the Commander, Squad Leader, Squad Member, Or Solo.  I have tried being the Commander but its really hard unless you are playing with real people, other than that I just let the computer be the commander much more easier and you get to have a ton more fun.  So I prefer to be the Squad leader of the Alpha team, it really doesn’t matter what team you are on. But you have awesome guns and they really sound real, well much more real than any other war games I have played.  The cars in the game are really realistic, they shift gears and they go a lot more faster than the ones in Battlefield vietnam.

You can run really fast in this game but it will wear your player out and he will need to walk or stop to rest to catch his breath. They also reload the guns pretty fast and most guns have single shot, 3 rounds burst or fully auto.  I like to be the Assault player, because I get a Nice M16A2 I think its called, its the one that has the grenade launcher on it.  It comes in handy when there’s a group of people you are trying to kill, or a tank.  It may take 5 shots to blow up a tank, but I have done it many times.   I also like to be on the special forces.  You get a nice Fully auto M16 with a laser scope and 5 packages of C4 to blow up tanks or enemy communication equipment.

I think it has a great HUD (Heads up Display), It tells you everything you need to know such as your health and stamina, ammo.  It also shows where you are suppose to attack or defend. And when you need a medic, it will show on the map where one is located.  Also if you or one of your teammates spots a enemy armor or enemy troops. As you can see in this screen shot, its a pretty looking game, good effects (best if played loud). So if you are looking for a really awesome online/single player war game, Battlefield 2 is for you!

Yes, I could of made this review have more information but I’m just telling you what I think from my point of view and interests, Yes you can be a sniper, Support, Engineer or medic.  You have a ton of commands, you can ask for a medic , you can say thanks for medic reviving you, or thanks for support giving you ammo.  You also have another set of commands, such as you can ask for a vehicle drop, or ask to change orders and request repair for your tank or what not.

So I give this game 9.5/10
It totally deserves the rating I gave.
