Microsoft has delayed the release to web (RTW) of Windows XP Service Pack 3 saying “In the last few days, we have uncovered a compatibility issue between Microsoft Dynamics Retail Management System (RMS) and SP3 both Windows XP and Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1). In order to make sure customers have the best possible experience, we have decided to delay releasing Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) to the web.”

But remember you can still get Your copy of SP3 from my website!

And it makes me wonder, what is so special about the “Dynamics Retail Management System” that makes them delay an entire service pack for it?

they knew it for a long time…
maybe they just found a way to get around it…
I think they just kept it as a reason to delay the product.
i’m wondering if they won’t add a security level they didn’t want to get cracked before the release…
