Well we have all been waiting for Windows 7 and you may have heard that it was going to be released in 2010 or 2011, but it’s possible Microsoft will be releasing it in 2009. Why so early? Microsoft was saying the Windows XP support timetable suggest that 2010 might coincide with the one-year anniversary of Windows 7.
But Microsoft said the truth is that it’s more than likely to be released in 2009. This is very strange because no one has a clue of what it will look like. Will it look like Vista? Or not? Microsoft and a few rumors said that Windows 7 will ship with a leaner, more efficient kernel, but a more efficient Microsoft will benefit customers even more.
I think this is very odd for Microsoft because Vista was release in the last year or so. There are people still using Windows XP Pro (like me) and then a lot of people are upgrading their systems or buying new desktops to support Vista’s horsepower requirements, Does this mean that maybe Windows 7 will be more like XP pro? And have less horsepower requirements? We won’t know until it gets shipped in 2009.
I think that Microsoft has been getting a lot of hate toward Windows Vista and wanted to give back to the consumers, Windows 7 will possibly blow their mind and could be the next Windows XP. Although there have been rumors that Windows 7 will look like Vista but will have a much better kernel that won’t crash as much. And will be more reliable.
