This week was the 6th annual All Things Digital, Microsoft’s Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer was there to take questions on various things, such as, why Microsoft failed to acquire Yahoo, and Windows Vista. But that wasn’t only thing that they were doing, Microsoft also was introducing the next version of Windows called Seven. They did not show much about Seven only the new features they added. They also demoed this; you can view the video at http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20080528-windows-7-demo-all-multitouch-and-no-meat.html
Windows Vistas had a huge amount of public build-up as with Seven, Microsoft has kept Seven pretty quite for the most part. There has been non-stop talk about Vista since 2003 till 2006, as well all know it now, Vista didn’t deliver all the Promised features during its extended development. Because of this with the widespread of negative perception, hurt both Microsoft and Windows brands. Microsoft is keeping Windows Seven quite due to this problem. Microsoft wants to deliver all the features promised in Windows 7 and Promise that it will ship everything in late 2009/early 2010.

But once I get better I will get on with posting my stuff on my blog!
This week is the last current events at my school so That should be cool, But I think I will continue to do it anyways even though we are no longer going to be doing current events at school since it is almost the end of school.

Well recently my friend Tyler is moving to Pennsylvania to save money. For one thing I think its stupid, hes going to leave all what he has down around here, and his friends and his only brother to save a few bucks, trust me, he is not going to save that much at all.
I just think this is stupid, he’s a good friend, dumb at times, but will do anything to help anyone. Its dumb for him to leave where he is now. I wont be able to talk to him or even hang out with him anymore. We are nothing but big computer geeks and have party’s just do reinstall operating systems!
He’s a good friend and I don’t want him to move cause I think he is making a really really big mistake that he will regret someday. Plus I wanted to start a cool jam band all made up with geeks he was going to be my drummer, but I guess saving a few extra dollars is better than having friends. It’s stupid. I think he knows it cause I don’t talk to him that much anymore and I get pissed off at him like all the time. Even his brother thinks its stupid cause its the only brother that he will ever have. But thats just the way I feel, hes stupid to move and leave everything behind.
What is wrong with people these days it’s like money has to be everything, more important than people and even better friends.
I hope he reads this too.

I recently read this article and thought it was pretty cool.
Napster on Tuesday open its MP3 download store in an effort to compete with Apple’s iTunes Store that dominates the Music Download Stores through out the Word Wide Web. Napster has launched there DRM-Free MP3 Download store which contains more than 6 million DRM-free download songs. Users can download these DRM-Free songs on to almost any MP3 Player even the iPod and iPhone.
Songs on Napster is still going to sell these songs at 99 cents a song but since its DRM-Free you can download them and copy them over and over. You can also uses these in videos and stuff. Its pretty much the same thing as Apple iTunes Plus store, but Apple is restricting the number of computers a user can have registered to play songs purchased from the iTunes Store, Many users complained about this, but Apple has not nothing about this yet.
Napster says it’s 6 Million DRM-Free song catalog features songs from all major labels, as well as thousands of Indies. Napster will still offer subscriptions to users who would rather pay the monthly fee.
Many Music Download Sites have been trying to tackle Apple’s dominance in the online music business, so Napster and Amazon have joins the list to try to take Apple. Amazon also recently Launched its MP3 store in September 2007.
Even so, Apple still manage to be the number one music retailer in the U.S. in April 2008, beating Wal-Mart, Is it because of Apples popularity?
Tell me what you think all about this.

Yes that’s right, I got to play with a awesome 1841 router today, I have some pictures (1841 Photos)
These routers are really nice, although we did not have no time to boot them up for the first time. When we do I am going to make a video of the router booting up or taking pictures. Or both But they are pretty small and light weight and smells great o:O
We been working on these old Cisco 2000 series which is older but it does have SDM (Security Device Manager) Its a web interface just like the one you have on your own routers at home, this provides a much more easier setup, but for school we will be using the command line interface which is harder but can be more fun! OH OH and the cables serial cables are soo much smaller than these huge bulky ones that we had before and the best think about these routers is that there is Ethernet jacks built in! hehe going to be soo much more easier.
Well I dont know what else to say, Maybe I will update this on monday

Comcast has 25 Million Cable TV subscribers and 14 Million High Speed internet subscribers, adding this new capability to Comcast’s services will be a whole new way of looking at cable TV, internet and even phones. Plaxo has been around for a few years on the Web and also allows automatic updates of business address-book information.
